Stacy's card was designed by our studio, using one of her drypoint etchings for her image. Stacy's print had a lot of background scratches, which were part of it's richness and character, but are difficult to translate into letterpress. It took us a couple of tries to make the plates communicate the feeling of the print and still retain clarity that would work well on the card. In the end, the product reflects her print, as well as the crispness and texture that are the strengths of letterpress.
