Unlike most of the other pieces on this site “The Waste Land,” was  hand set with lead type, which is a contributing factor to it’s more traditional design. This broadside contains the first section of the poem, “The Burial of the Dead.”  “The Waste Land” has been an influential literary work for Vanderheiden, who throughout her career has been returning to the poem for inspiration. The dimensions are 8x19. A copy of this poem can be purchased for $35.
